Dr Kuldeep Raizada

Dr Kuldeep Raizada, PhD, BCO, BADO, FAAO, is a globally recognized ocularist with over twenty-six years in the ophthalmic industry and twenty-five years in ocular and facial prosthetics.

He is the first Indian and the first in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East to receive the board certification (BCO) and diplomate status (BADO) from the American Society of Ocularists, USA. Dr Raizada is the founder and chairman of Akriti, and founder and director of the International Prosthetic Eye Center.

He has trained professionals and established ocular labs across India. A fellow of L.V. Prasad Eye Institute and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, his innovations include the digital dynamic facial eye prosthesis and ETDRS LogMAR charts in regional languages.

He is a recipient of the ICOO Best Video Award (2004), Ratan Tata Scholarship, and Abdul Kalam Award. A journal reviewer and international speaker, Dr Raizada is known for his excellence in paediatric ocular prosthetics.
